Deborah Lippmann Ruby Red Slippers
Although the effect of this polish was gorgeous, I have to tell you first that removal of this, like Marquee Moon, was a big fat pain.
I used the scrubby tub that I usually use for glitters, and it got the base polish and smaller glitter off just fine.... but I was still left with large silver hex-glitter pieces stuck to my nails, and no amount of time in the scrubby tub would remove them.
I had to use my thumbnail and scrape them off. That can't be good!
Krystal at Polish Galore used a coat of black underneath, so that may be the way to go to make removal easier. Anyone else tried that and had good luck?

Gorgeous! I don't have this polish, but I imagine a coat of black underneath might make things easier.
I made my own lippman esque ones, I used felt with acetone to remove them
Nothing worse than have to scrape at your nail bed.. its th hex glitter!!

Love this, this is so hotttt! I have Across the Universe, which is one of the most beautiful polishes ever, but unfortunately removal is dreadfully painful. I suspect it's just like that for glitters, esp. hex glitters.

This is like the only incarnation of Dorothy's Slippers that I actually want. LOL.
As for the hex glitters, I don't have this one, but yeah, the black underneath may help. Another thing is taking an orangewood stick, wrapping a bit of cotton around it, soaking it in acetone and then using that to gently pry off the glitters. I get rhinestones and decals stuck on me all the time, and I find that to to be an easier and gentler (both on my nails and my nerves) method of removal.
It's beautiful but the removal is indeed frustrating.
This color is beautiful!!! I want it. Sorry it was such a pain to remove. I just bought a glittery polish recently and it didn't stay on at all. It peeled off really quickly. Funny how some stay and some won't stay.
I always have this problem with dark glitter polish :/
Although the result is very good, in my opinion worthy :)
