Dermelect All Decked Out Collection

Dermelect All Decked Out Collection
Spring 2015

Dermelect Dune My Thing
(mauve taupe)
2 coats

Dermelect Fant-A-Sea
(peach shimmer)
2 coats

 Dermelect A Shore Thing
(sheer beige)
2 coats

Dermelect Lazy Daze
(butter creme)
2 coats

The All Decked Out collection was inspired by beaches and the summer sun and is full of calming and cool tones that reminded Elle, the Color Curator for Dermelect, of a sea shell.

I found all four shades to apply wonderfully. I think a third of the sheer beige, A Shore Thing, might have added a bit more coverage, but since it's supposed to be sheer, I stopped at two since I liked the look. Lazy Daze was surprisingly opaque in just two coats, and so pretty, but my favorite of the collection is Dune My Thing.

Dermelect recommends using the shades without a separate base coat since they have ingredients to help strengthen the nails. They have also recently released a new cuticle oil called Revital-Oil that is peptide infused as well as a topcoat called Memento that can help a mani up to 9 days. I plan on giving these two products a try over the next week. Watch for an upcoming review of these two products.

Orly Color Blast in Warm Hugs

Orly Color Blast in Warm Hugs
2 coats

Doesn't this shade just scream Spring? Thank goodness the sun is finally out here! We had a crazy snow storm here just a few weeks ago, and today it was 75 and felt amazing. I have been battling a nasty sinus infection for the last two weeks and wasn't able to paint my nails because I was blowing my nose too much! Ha! It felt great to get do a full mani last night and I LOVE this color!

I wasn't familiar with Orly's Color Blast line, but I saw a post about the Elsa collection at Walgreens and knew I needed to check it out. There are 12 shades, but they are a bit pricy to me at $6.99 for just .37 oz, so I just chose my favorite to purchase.

I am really pleased- application was nice and I got good even coverage with two coats. I like it so much I may go back and purchase a few other shades.

SinfulColors Catch Spring Fever Collection

SinfulColors has put together a new collection for Spring 2015 called Catch Spring Fever. Today I've got two crème shades from the collection, along with the three Opalescent Trend Toppers that are in this collection.

SinfulColors Thimbleberry (2 coats)
described as "a crushing shade of coral"

SinfulColors Navy I Do (2 coats)
described as "true navy blue"

I thought Navy I Do would be a great base to try with the opalescent trend toppers. I applied one coat of each to the three fingers on the left.... I left the pinkie nail on the right alone.

Opalescent Trend Toppers
Flight To See is described as "prismatic plum"
Prized Plume is "iridescent peacock-feather blue"
Sheer Flight is "bejeweled emerald"

I think these are all really pretty and just one coat covered well for a neat effect. My favorite of the three was Sheer Flight, although I like all three.

SinfulColors Catch Spring Fever Collection for Spring 2015 is available at Walgreens and other mass retailers for $1.99 each.
