Sad, but true.

I took my solar nails off last night. I have had them for about 2 years now, and my nails need a break. I am excited to get them back to healthy ... anyone have any great tips or products to recommend for repairing brittle and paper thin nails? No pics will be posted just yet of these lovelies ... don't wanna scare anyone - ha, ha! But as soon as they are somewhat decent and grown out a little, I'll be posting again with some of my own fun and fave colors! Thanks for the help, girls! :o)

April, I know the MakeUp Alley girls all rave about the Nailtek system for rehab after taking-off acrylics, etc. You can find the brand through any of the e-tailers for MUCH cheaper than in store.
Good luck!

April, Brooke at Getcha Nails Did has been rehabbing her nails after acrylics... she would have some great tips.

I agree that the Nailtek (Nailtiques too) are great products to strenghten your nails. I'd suggest wearing a sheer light shade while you are letting them grow out so you don't pick them. OPI Bubble Bath is a good one for that.

I found an awesome product to help your nails.

It's called Bullet-Proof Strength Kevlar Fiber Formula by Nutra Nail.

I wanted my nails not to break so easily, and this stuff works wonders! It made them really hard. I found it at Wal-Mart.
