Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish in Dolly

I believe I got this in Allure Beauty Box I purchased in 2012. Buxom Lips in Dominique is one of my faves for topping lip stains, but I don't know that this is a color I'd use. It's described as "shimmering muted plum". This is a full-size .15 fluid ounce gloss that retails for $19 at Sephora.

I received this in a giveaway during 2012, but I had already purchased one myself that I absolutely love. It's a beautiful baby pink and has great pigmentation. It is a full-size product that retails for $21 on the Balm's website.

Stila Lip glazes in Grapefruit, Bubble Gum, Pinkle Twinkle, and Lights

These came in various kits and I believe one was a freebie I got at IMAT in 2012. Although these colors are gorgeous, I'm just not much of a gloss girl. Surely someone else can use them more than me! Grapefruit is a full-size .08 fluid ounce gloss that retails for $22 on Sephora. Bubble Gum, Pinkle Twinkle, and Lights are all .05 fluid ounces and that size typically retails in trios for around $12 at Sephora.

NOTD: Stila Kitten

I have to admit I was a little underwhelmed with this shade. As a lover of the Kitten eyeshadow, I was hoping to love this as well. The main thing I love about the eyeshadow is the glow- it has a beautiful shimmering quality, and that's something they didn't follow through with for the nail polish.

To me, the base was a bit murky, and that kept the glitter from sparkling. While it *is* pretty, it's just not what I thought Kitten nail polish would be.

Hope to find time to try some of the other shades soon and let you know what I think.

Vintage Stila Nail Polish

Last week I got an email from Stila that they would be launching a nail polish collection. I've seen quite a few bloggers post about these new polishes.

What people may not know is that this isn't Stila's first foray into nail polish. In my collection, I have two bottles of Stila Nail Shimmer, most likely from the late-90s.

This is a terrible picture, but here's a NOTD pic I did back in June of 2009 wearing Stila hebe.

Today I have on isis and will get a pic once the sun comes out. Surprisingly, the polish has done well over time and didn't even need any thinner to perform well.

This has been discontinued for quite some time, I'm sure, but was a favorite of mine for quite a while. I love Stila products!

I was in the mood for a coppery, shimmery, brown and this fit the bill. The application is really nice. My cuticles need some TLC and I see that now that I uploaded my pics.....
