NOTD: SinfulColors SinfulShine in Amazonian

SinfulColors SinfulShine in Amazonian
2 coats

The new SinfulShine™ high-gloss, high shine nail polish with Gel TechTM is a self-curing polymer formula that delivers the same high shine gloss as an acrylic UV cured gel without the hassle of a special lamp.SinfulShine™ is five times more glossy than a patent leather shoe*... now that's shine!!!
* 2012 Glossmeter Study.

This line, consisting of 32 shades, is available exclusively at Walgreens for $2.99.

Two coats gave great coverage, and I absolutely love this color-it's deep and rich and gorgeous. I used an adhesive basecoat and topped it with NYC Grand Central Station and my mani dried super fast.

NOTD: Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat in Tweedy

Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat in Tweedy
over SinfulColor SinfulShine in Alfresco

This swatch is just one coat of the Fuzzy Coat and I'm pretty impressed. It applied very easily- I just dabbed it on and liked the coverage I got. I did apply a second coat on the pinkie only (far right) but decided I like one coat better.

It does feel bumpy, so you will need to apply a thicker topcoat, or use a coat of Gelous. I first just applied one coat of NYC GCS, but since it was still bumpy, I added a coat of Gelous and another coat of NYC GCS and it feels nice and smooth.

Update: When I went to remove this I used the Reesa Method, and it absolutely just slid right off! I had heard the bar glitters were a bear to remove, but I had no trouble at all!

NOTD: Revlon Top Speed in Celestial FX

Revlon Top Speed in Celestial FX (2 coats)
over SinfulColors SinfulShine in Picante

Celestial FX is a clear base with small silver holo glitter and larger holo pieces of diamond, moon, and star glitter.

I do not like Celestial FX.

At all.

In the bottle it's so pretty! But it is very watery and I had to absolutely go on a fishing expedition to get that lone large glitter on each finger. A second coat did not help at all. Such a disappointment.

NOTD: SinfulColors SinfulShine in Picante

SinfulColors SinfulShine in Picante

Last week I had a Walgreens giftcard burning a hole in my pocket, and I decided to pick up one of the new SinfulColors SinfulShine shades. I thought Picante was a perfect summer shade.

Available exclusively at Walgreens for $2.99 for a limited time, the SinfulShine line with Gel Tech™ provides opulent rich color and superb shine.

Picante was a dream to apply. Two coats gave perfect coverage, although Picante *is* a bit of a jelly and I did have a bit of visible nail line.

This picture was taken on Sunday afternoon, after I painted my nails on Saturday night. I'm writing this post on Monday morning and my mani still looks perfect. I'm pretty impressed.

Have you tried any shades from the SinfulShine line?
