I've seen the Nicole by OPI polishes at Wal-Mart and
Target all the time, but I've never owned any until now.
I was lucky enough to be sent the new Holiday Magic collection to review.
The Holiday Magic collection presents a limited-edition collection of four celebratory shades, ranging from sparkling silver to the deepest of reds. Designed to complement winter wardrobes, these festive hues add a magic touch to any occasion.
The collection consists of two glitters and two cremes. "The holidays are all about celebration, and our Holiday Magic Nail Lacquers provide a burst of feel-good color that is perfectly on point with the spirit of the season,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “These four glamorous shades are the ideal accessories to accent holiday outfits.”

First up is Bring on the Tinsel:

First up is Bring on the Tinsel:

Bring on the Tinsel is described as "a silver that sparkles more than tinsel".
Below is 1 coat on my index, 2 coats on my middle,
3 coats on my ring, and 4 coats on my pinky:
Below is 1 coat on my index, 2 coats on my middle,
3 coats on my ring, and 4 coats on my pinky:
Bring on the Tinsel is a clear base loaded with red, green, and silver glitter. One or two coats will be great for layering, while
three or four coats are needed for this polish to stand alone.
Next up is Spark My Mistletoe:
Spark My Mistletoe is described as "a red so hot it might cause a real spark".Below is the same application as Bring on the Tinsel; 1, 2, 3, 4 coats:
Spark My Mistletoe is a clear base with lots of red glitter interspersed with silver glitter. This would look incredible layered over a red or silver polish.
It doesn't work too well standing alone in my opinion.
Third we have Stuck in the Chimney:
Stuck in the Chimney is described as "a red you'llnever forget-it'll be stuck in your mind".
Below is two coats in full sunlight, no topcoat:
Stuck in the Chimney matte:
I wasn't wicked impressed with Stuck in the Chimney. It's a pretty color, but was too much of a purple red for me. I was hoping for a color that Spark My Mistletoe would look good over, but this just isn't it at all. Finally we have Kiss Me at Midnight:
Kiss Me at Midnight is described as "a dark redthat's perfect for night, the best time for a kiss".
Below is two coats in full sunlight, no topcoat:

Let's just forget about the matte picture for a moment and focus on the beauty that is the unmatted Kiss Me at Midnight. I included a second picture in the sun so you can see the gorgeous auburn qualities of the color. I don't know that it's necessarily red, but more of a brown with red shimmer throughout. Whatever color it is, it's beautiful. Truly beautiful. It's ugly as sin when matted, but normal it's the star of this collection, IMO.All four of these colors went on easily. The polish was OPI perfect and streaking wasn't even a thought. Removal of the glitter was atypical for glitter removal...aka a pain. Other than that, I'm quite pleased with the first Nicole by OPI polishes I got to try.

I don't know why but I don't really care for glitter polishes all that much.
Loved Spark My Mistletoe. Didn't like Kiss Me At Midnight at all - too blah brown for my personal taste.
Ooooh so sparkly. :)
Having a great giveaway you might like...http://bellagetsreal.blogspot.com/2010/11/csn-giveaway.html
I think the glitters should be layered over the colors, that would rock :)
How fun!!!
Thanks for sharing! :)
