Now, on with this preview!

All shots shown below are in full sun, two coats and
without Top Coat unless otherwise noted.

Feel free to click to enlarge.

First up, DS Radiance:

DS Radiance is described as a "luxuriously rich, brilliant silver".

Dude, this is a foil polish! For Pete's sake, my nails are the exact same color as the bottle top! I really, really wanted to like DS Radiance. In fact, I did like it in the bottle. On my nails though, not so much. It looked like I had placed Reynolds Wrap on my finger tips and called it a day. It wasn't a look that worked for me, at all.

I've read word that DS Radiance may be replacing DS Coronation in the DS core line. That may well be but they're NOTHING alike, as shown below:

Left is DS Radiance and right is DS Coronation.

DS Radiance is foil at it's finest. DS Coronation is glittery and has some prismatic stuff going on that makes me smile. You could totally get by with both of these in your collection.

Next up, DS Magic:

DS Magic is described as an "intriguing deep blue".

Below is three coats:

This color is freaking to die for! Holy crap is it gorgeous!
You can't see it, and trust me did I try to capture it, but there is purple infused all up in there! Normally it's a beautiful blue glittery looking polish, then you turn your hand and the purple comes out in spades! There is nothing like this that I've seen before.

Just for fun I compared it to DS Royal (which was way too purple), DS Fantasy (which was a too dark blue), and Sally Hansen HD Laser DVD (which was way too sheer and a much lighter blue - even after 4 coats). I didn't photograph it, but none of them were anywhere close to the beauty of DS Magic. Believe me.

Designer Series by OPI nail lacquers and Top Coat contain no DBP, Toulene, or Formaldehyde, and feature OPI's exclusive ProWide brush.

The Fall 2010 Designer Series by OPI nail lacquers will be available September 2010 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA for $12.50 ($15.95 CAN) suggested retail for each nail lacquer.

Which one is your must buy favorite?

Sorry you didn't care for DS Radiance. I liked it. How funny that you compared it to Foil because that's exactly what I was thinking - "her nails look like they've been wrapped in Reynolds Wrap Foil!"

OMG, I freaking LOVE DS Magic. I think I orgasmed over that color!

hey there! I'm a new follower- I did a review of these as well a while ago- I found DS magic to be full of depth with its purple flash, and while radiance looked cool, it's been done before. Come check out my blog too at http://www.ForYourNailsOnly.blogspot.com
