I've been waiting for this one for weeks, and it finally arrived!
Today I'll be sharing with you the 2010 Fabulous Fall Collection from Diamond Cosmetics!
From L to R: Classic Pink, Private School Girl, Sunset in Sedona,
It's Nothing to Wine About, and Under the Willow Tree
All pictures below are 3 coats unless otherwise noted.
I used only Diamond Cosmetics products for these swatches.
Swatches are base coat and polish only. All the shine
you see is not from a top coat. That's the polish alone baby! :)

First up, Classic Pink:
Classic Pink was my least favorite color of the collection. I know, I know...*gasp!*. You would think that I'd love it, right? It's light, it's pink, it's a Diamond Cosmetics polish, what's not to love? Well, this is a fall collection. I was expecting rusts, deep oranges, greens, golden yellows, browns. I opened the box and saw pink and was like "huh?". To me, pink falls in the spring collection category. I had to double check the press release to make sure I received the right colors. The color itself isn't bad. Application was great, although sheer after 3 coats. The color just completely threw me for a loop. If this polish were in a spring collection, I'd love it. I mean, I like it now, but I'd love it more in spring. :)Next up, Private School Girl:
Private School Girl is what we from the south would describe as "hooker red". It doesn't look like it from the bottle picture, but this is a loud, bright red that grabs your attention! The funny thing is, I've seen this color on another person and it didn't look like this at all. Oh my. So it just looks hooker red on me? What does that say about me? Um, er...moving on. Oh, Christmas red; there ya go! That's a much better term. Private School Girl is the perfect Christmas red. ;)Third we've got Sunset in Sedona:
Sunset in Sedona is described as a "dusty orange that will haveyou wanting to live in Arizona all year round".
I could never live in Arizona year around. I like grass too much. There's just not enough of it out west to keep me happy. It's there, but not enough of it. There's too much dirt and sand. And the heat? Let's not even talk about that. Dry heat is a misnomer. 101 is 101 whether it's combined with humidity or not. It's still ding dang hot! Oh, sorry. I got off track a little there. Sunset in Sedona was my favorite color in the collection. I didn't get the orange as much as I got brown from it. Matted it looks like a clay pot. Such a pretty color.Fourth is It's Nothing to Wine About:
It's Nothing to Wine About has the tag line description of "so relax, paint your nails and pour yourself a big glass of merlot".
While I wasn't overly fond of the color on me, It's Nothing to Wine About is a really beautiful color. It totally looks like the color of wine, not the color of wine I drink as I'm a white/blush kind of girl, but yeah -- merlot, totally. I think if you had the right skin tone (read not pale white at the end of summer for pete's sake), this color would look great on you. Finally, Under the Willow Tree:
Under the Willow Tree is described as "this vampy color is like walking the forest at midnight".
Under the Willow Tree matte:
Under the Willow Tree's true color is sooooooooo hard to capture! It looks so dark, it's almost black in the above pictures. It's not black at all. It's a super deep forest green that is really, really pretty. Below is the same color shown in 2 coats instead of 3. You can somewhat make out a little more green here than above:
It's still hard to see the green, but I promise it's there. Some general opinions of this Diamond Cosmetics polish line:

I didn't think I'd care for Private School Girl at all judging from the bottle but I LOVE it! It's my favorite out of the group.
Didn't care for Sunset in Sedona.
I was really looking forward to It's Nothing to Wine About but the swatch didn't "wow" me. It's just kind of meh!
