Polish Organization Pictures

Happy Friday Y'all!

I haven't posted at all this week due to the fact I'm letting my fingers recover from the polish/remover overload they experienced last week. They're looking better, so I should be back to regular posting next week.

A few weeks ago, I told y'all I would share pictures of how I organized my polish stash. Back in January, I shared the following pictures of my stash:

It was all under my sink, and was threatening to overflow onto the floor!

Now it's separated into two distinct groups; tried and untried.
Here's how I have the tried polishes organized:

These are two, four drawer cubes I purchased for
$15 each at Michael's (two 50% off coupons, baby!).

Because I'm too cheap to buy shelf liner, I used the styrofoam liners that came between the wood to line the drawers. I was also too lazy to cut the liner, so that's why it looks bunched in the pictures.

Here's where my OCD runs rampant. The cubes hold the
polishes in ABC order and each drawer is also in ABC order.

Top container. Drawer 1: China Glaze:

Drawer 2: Color Club and Diamond Cosmetics:

Drawer 3: Essie and Zoya

Drawer 4: Random; Orly, Borghese, Sally Hansen, CND, Sinful, Illamasqua,
LA Colors, Peacemakers, Del Sol, Cheeky Monkey

Bottom container. Drawer 1: OPI A-H The spaces are
where the ones I haven't tried yet will go once they're tried.

Drawer 2: OPI I-S

Drawer 3: OPI S-Z, DS's, and Mini packs. This drawer doesn't have a liner, so I used some of the DS polishes to hold the places for untrieds.

Drawer 4: Top Coats, Base Coats, Remover, toe separators

So what's under the sink now you ask? Look:

The basket holds cotton, my paintbrush for touch-ups, base and top coats, removers, mattes, my China Glaze Liquid Leather I use for layering Friday's, and my Burt's Bees Lemon Butter cuticle cream.

The box is actually a scrapbooking box designed for pictures or supplies.
It holds all my untried polishes:

There are actually two more Zoya boxes under the two you see. Each one holds 6 polishes. Each one is full. The Milani's, ORLY's, and Sinful's (in the front right corner) and the Claire's in the back are all stacked on top of other polishes.

0_0!!!!

This is why I am still on the no buy! I need to get through all these before I buy more! I counted my untrieds. I could go for over 2 years, at one polish a week, and still not be done with all the polishes in this box! ACK!!!!

Starting next week, for the rest of the year I'm just going to randomly choose a polish from the box to use as my CotW. No more themes, just pure randomness! See y'all then!

Have a great weekend!

Great entry! I'm chuckling at your need to alphabetize the polishes but bunchy drawer liner is okay. I can relate. :)

My trieds and untrieds live together; that way the untrieds don't taunt me so much.

Ok, I have a confession to make! I read your headline as Polish as in the people from Poland. I wondered if you were going to discuss organizing polish from Poland.

Your polish pictures reminds me of a friends house. She has waaaaaaaay too much of everything. And doesn't want to get rid of any of it. She keeps downsizing houses and jam-packing her storage unit. And yet, she continues to buy, buy, buy.

Yours is only limited to your polish though, and hers is not limited to anything.
