Lavender Comparisons

I wondered if I had any dupes for Illamasqua's Wink that I'm wearing this week. I know I don't like the idea of spending over $15 for a bottle of polish, no matter how great it may be, *Cough* RBL and Mac *Cough* and I figure you guys don't either. Let's see if I do.

First up, the left hand. The players are:

From L to R: Lucky Lucky Lavender, Wink,
Rumple's Wiggin', Done Out in Deco, and Light as Air

The order is the same on my hand:

It's hard to see, but this is the best shot I had. Rumple's Wiggin' and Light as Air are the closest. For a polish called Lucky Lucky Lavender, it's anything but lavender; can we say pink? I knew you could.


Onto the right hand. I only changed the polish for the pinky.

Rumple's Wiggin', Wink and Pelican Peak Purple

Here's where you can really see that Rumple's Wiggin' is slightly darker than Wink. Done Out in Deco and Pelican Peak Purple are pretty close to each other, except Deco is a little more dusty than Pelican.

All in all, there isn't an exact dupe. If you really want to own Wink, go for it. If you are happy saving a little money while getting close to the same color, go for either Rumple's Wiggin' or Light as Air.

With that display of color finished, I'm off to day 2 of 3 dance rehearsals. This weekend can't be over soon enough.
