China Glaze Vintage Vixen Preview-Part 2

I'm back today with the remaining 6 colors
in the upcoming Vintage Vixen collection.

If you missed the first 6, you can find them here.

Below are the six colors I will be showing you today.

From L to R: Hey Doll, Bogie, First Class Ticket,
Midnight Mission, Emerald Fitzgerald, and Jitterbug

All swatches are 2 coats, in full sunlight, without a top coat.
Feel free to click to see up close.

First up, Hey Doll:

Hey Doll is described as a "rose frost with shimmer"

Hey Doll matte:

Pretty! I liked the shimmer and shine this one showed, so much. Even matted it was still really pretty. Definitely one to get.

Next up, Bogie:

Bogie is described as a "plum frost with shimmer"

Bogie matte:

This one did nothing for me. It was boring looking in the bottle, and didn't look much better on the nail. There's a better purple up next.

Third, First Class Ticket:

First Class Ticket is described as a "deep purple frost with shimmer"

First Class Ticket matte:

This color is incredible! It is a rich, rich purple; like royalty purple. The sparkle is still noticeable when matted, but it's of course more subdued. It was so pretty, I didn't want to take it off. I'll definitely be wearing it again soon.

Fourth, Midnight Mission:

Midnight Mission is described as a
"navy blue frost with silver micro glitter"

Midnight Mission matte:

This is another of my favorites in the collection. The color is so deep and so sparkly, it's a pleasure to look at. Matting it just gives it another beautiful look as a toned down alternative. Another great bonus? NO SMURF FINGERS!!!! I was so worried about the possibility of Smurfiness, I didn't want to swatch this one. Boy am I glad I got over that! If you're looking for a sparkly blue with no Smurf afterfingers, this is the blue for you!

Fifth, Emerald Fitzgerald:

Emerald Fitzgerald is described as a
"turquoise green frost with shimmer"

Emerald Fitzgerald matte:

I was expecting more from this color. I don't know that turquoise is the word I'd use to describe it either. I have turquoise jewelry, and it doesn't look like this color. Teal would be a more correct color word. I love it matte, but could do without it regular. With a name like Emerald Fitzgerald, I was expecting a more green color.

Finally, Jitterbug:

Jitterbug is described as a "grey chrome with silver micro glitter"

Jitterbug matte:

This was one of my favorites of the collection too. Just like Swing Baby, the sparkle and shine were blindingly distracting *ooooooooo, shiny*, but in a good way. When I matted it, it almost looked like a road surface. It was just too cool for words!

The only drawback? Every time I say the name to this polish, I get that stinking Wham! song stuck in my head. You know the one:

Jitterbug

Jitterbug

Jitterbug

Jitterbug

You put the boom boom into my heart

You send my soul sky high when your loving starts

Jitterbug into my brain

Goes a bang bang bang till my feet do the same

If something's bugging you

If something ain't right

My best friend told me what you did last night

Left me sleeping in my bed

I was dreaming but I should have been with you instead...

Yeah, you're welcome. *Snickers*

These colors will be released next month, and will
be available at beauty stores near you.

Y'all have a good evening!

These are all very pretty. I liked this set a little more than the ones you did yesterday.
