Because She Asked...

In reading the comments on my recent post
for the CND Colour and Effects, sprinkles wondered
how the effects would look on their own.

I aim to please, kind of. :)

All polish is 2 coats.


This is Amethyst Sparkle:

Index-over white, middle and pinky-by itself, ring-over black

It may not look it, but I did apply it over the white. It's like the white just absorbed all the effect. Over the black, it looks similar to how it did over CND Oilslick. Over the naked nail, you can see the sparkle, but it's not majorly noticeable.


This is Ice Blue Shimmer:

Index-over black, middle and pinky-by itself, ring-over white

Again it is hard to see the effect over the white polish. Over the black, the result was again similar to the result over CND Oilslick. On my naked nails, it gave them a slight blue/purple tint that shone in the sun.

All in all, I wouldn't bother using the effects over
white or on their own. That's just my opinion though. :)
