ORLY has decided to give us an homage to iconic sweet treats with their upcoming Spring II 2010 Sweet Collection. The collection "incorporates spring's feminine pastels by adding a milky white opaque tone to baby pinks, blues, yellows, purples, and greens".
Each polish comes with a FREE matching flavored mini lip gloss key chain. The six new colors are (in the order shown below):
Pixy Stix (a pink creme)Lollipop (a pastel purple creme)
Lemonade (a pastel yellow creme)
Gumdrop (a pastel turquoise creme)
Cotton Candy (a baby pink creme)
and
Snowcone (a baby blue creme)
I received 3 colors to review. Here's what I received:
Snowcone, Cotton Candy, and GumdropAll pictures are 2 coats unless otherwise indicated.
First up, Cotton Candy:

Cotton Candy matteCotton Candy is billed as a baby pink creme.
It was more of a peach than a pink to me.
Because of how pale I am naturally, this color didn't look right on my skin. I think it would be great if I had a tan. It's a color I'll have to revisit later in the year, definitely.
Next up, Gumdrop:

Gumdrop matteGumdrop is a pastel turquoise creme? This was so mint on me. Of course I own no other color similar, so it may lean more toward blue than green. I just know that I loved the color and will totally wear it more come Spring. I LOVED it in a matte version!
Finally, Snowcone:

Snowcone matte
Snowcone is a baby blue creme that looks like it forgot the baby part. It's definitely blue, and definitely creme, but not what I'd consider baby blue by any means. I liked this color, but it's staying power failed; big time. Less than 8 hours after I put it on my nails, I had 2 fingers worth of polish come peeling off in the shower. Because I like it so much though, I'm more than willing to give it another try in the future.
Some general opinions of these ORLY polishes:
in exchange for a written review.
No monetary exchange was made between parties.
My opinions are solely mine and are honest and true.
This review is only for the aformentioned ORLY nail polish line.

Some general opinions of these ORLY polishes:
- application was smooth and easy. The polish wasn't too thick and it wasn't chunky
- the attached lip glosses? Too cute for words! They smelled like bubblegum (all smelled the same), and had no taste (at least mine didn't). They made my lips sparkle (which is something that I'm okay with sparkling, unlike vampires :P).
- all quotes describing the polish above are from the provided press release
- all ORLY polishes are DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde and Formaldehyde resin free
- the Sweet Collection will be available April 2010 and will retail for $7.50 each
- ORLY polishes are available at orlybeauty.com, Sally Beauty, and ULTA

They're all so pretty! I wish I could see a swatch of Lollipop!
My favorite of the ones pictured is Snowcone.
I love that they all come with lipgloss! That alone would be enough to make me buy it!
I like them all!
beautiful shades!
