Borghese Cannoli Cream
This is one of 2 Borghese polishes I got, and this is the first time I have used this brand. Overall I was very pleased. The formula is good on this creamy, bisquey nudish color. It's not an exciting color, but it's very chic in my opinion.
This is probably meant to be worn as a sheer, and looked great as both a one coater (very shear, minor streaking) and a two coater (no streaks, plenty of VNL but not quite sheer), but I chose to get to full opacity with 3 coats. Dry time took a while, but I lay it on pretty thick, and with 3 coats, it's sure to take a little longer to set completely. The brush is unlike any other I have encountered before. It's like double thick or something, and tapered at the end. The bristles aren't as flexible, kind of like painting with toothbrush bristles, but it wasn't bad. Actually, I liked it because it was a bit wider/bigger, and since I have big hands/nails, it was pretty cool. I did make a bit of a mess on the 3rd coat around the edges, especially on my right hand, but I'm sure I will adapt to this brush just fine. I do have one chip now, 24 hours later, but I don't think it's the fault of the polish. I've been hard on my nails recently, and this chip includes a layer of my nail that's come off too, I think I nicked it while doing laundry or something.
This swatch is 1 coat Orly Bonder, 1 coat Essie Fill the Gap, 3 coats Borghese Cannoli Cream, and 1 coat Seche Vite.

Not sure I really like this color so much. It's kinda blah. I might like it more with maybe a bit of a pink hue. Yeah, I know cannoli cream isn't pink. But it could be if you added food color! OK, obviously I don't know what I'm talking about. I'll shut up now!
This is kind of like the new mannequin hands trend, isn't it?
