Of course I needed a Broadway worthy mani! This is an unnamed Goldie I got at Marshall's the other day (in a set of 8, it was only 7.99!!). I shall call it:
West Side Dazzle!
I wore this polish from Thursday afternoon until just about an hour ago ... since I had some tip peeling going on, I painted over the boo boos for the pic. I have since filed those peeling tips away ... Anyway, West Side Dazzle is a bright orange/copper metallic with copper glitter. Application and wear was pretty good considering the hell I put my nails through all weekend (Mrs. Graceful over here FELL DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF TIMES SQUARE!!! OMG!!!). The only real disappointment was that the glitter barely showed through the base color of the polish (looks much more pronounced in the bottle), and it was really gritty/bumpy, even with a thick coat of SV. I wish it hadn't been overcast since I did this mani, because this is not a very good pic of the color. It's brighter. Actually, the lightest reflective areas in the pic are pretty close. The polish was easy to control, applied in thin coats, opaque in 2 ... Considering I got 8 polishes for 7.99, I'd say this is a winner!
Aaand, I just applied Sinful Colors Hottie. Like, it's still squishy under the layer of SV ... Hottie is a medium blue jelly packed with 2 sizes of holographic glitter. I've found that I'm not very drawn to blues, but my collection was severely lacking in them so I grabbed this the last time I was in Walgreens. Since this is a buildable glitter, I took a pic after each of the three coats I used.

Second Coat:
OK, first let me say that I *like* it. Really. I just don't think blue is really my thing. I dunno. It's growing on me as I sit here looking at it (over and over again, lol), and it looks ok with my skin tone, I'm just not a blue kind of person though. Application started out a breeze and then became increasingly difficult. The polish started glumping up in the bottle almost immediately. By the time I got to the 3rd coat on my right hand, it was so thick that it looks kind of lumped up on my nail. Each coat dried to the touch REALLY fast, but it is still VERY squishy underneath. I'm kind of worried about what's going to happen when I go to bed in a few minutes here (EEP! It's 12:40! Way past my bedtime!). I will say that it was extremely easy to control on the nail though. It was thick, but only went where I put it. I mean, look at that last picture! There is barely anything to clean up! Neat! Umm ... what else? Oh, the finish of this polish is kind of dull. It NEEDS a topcoat, not because it's a bumpy glitter (it's not all that bumpy, pretty smooth actually), but to give it some shine. I'll be adding another coat of SV in the morning because it's almost as if the coat I already applied has been absorbed.
Oh, I just gave my pics another look ... the glitter doesn't look holographic in them, but it IS. Very much so.
Overall, this polish is great, especially considering the price.
*Yawn* OK, it's bedtime! Night!

I love Goldie polishes. They are so wonderful, but I HATE that none of them are named. It drives me mad, lol. This is the brand I was just mentioning by Bath & Body Works.
I like SC Hottie, but I had some of the same problems. I have found that it is great for layering and frankening though!
I got those Goldie polishes at TJMaxx for the same price here in northern NY. I haven't tried any as of yet. :)
I see they have numbers on the bottom but two different bottles have the same number so I guess you can't go by that.
Great looking mani.

West Side Dazzle looks a little too orange for my personal taste yet I can't help but love it. I'd definitely wear it!
Didn't care for Sinful Colors Hottie at all. Until you got to the 3rd coat. Then I LOVED it! Loving the glitter too.
I purchased my first Sinful last week, and I got a glitter too. I might take it back if yours never dried.....
